Last night I went to the second of two wakes in the past three weeks. These were people that my parents were friends with that I have know for quite some time. It's really said to think about your parents mortality. I'm lucky in the fact that both of mine are still alive and three of five grandparents have only just died in the last 6 years. I know there are plenty of people out there who may not be as lucky, but there are also those who may be luckier than me. Right now I cannot fathom having to put together a funeral for a parent or deal with their assets. I'm hoping that I have another 20 years before I have to even think about it.
