Trip Pix

The trip to San Francisco was good. We actually didn't spend much time in SF. We drove North to Point Reyes National Seashore Park and saw a lighthouse. Yes, my mother's idea. After you park the car you walk a ½ mile to the stairs, then 302 stairs down to the lighthouse and 302 stairs back up, then the ½ mile back to the car. I wasn't complaining by any means, but my parents got a significant workout. Well, my dad did. He went to the lighthouse with me and my mom stayed at the top. We also took a tour bus to Yosemite National Park. That was cool! I included the pix from Yosemite and a 30 second video of the drive through Yosemite in the snow.

Bridalveil Falls

El Capitan on the far left. Many people free climb this 3000' granite rock.

Half Dome in middle and El Cap peeking up on the left. Half Dome is also a large hunk of granite.

Half Dome looking over Merced River. Half Dome was wearing a fog cap.

Part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Yosemite National Park.
