I've been absent and I owe you a race report. Since I wanted to post something I thought I would post some pictures I took of a monarch butterfly hanging out on our butterfly bush in the backyard. I took these last weekend. I wanted to get in really close, but 1) I didn't have my camera camera just my cell camera 2) Every time I moved in closer he'd fly away.
BTW, does anyone know if I should cut the bush down to the ground this winter? If so, do I need to wait until all the blooms are gone? It's pretty overgrown and definitely need a trim and I need to figure out a way to keep it from laying on the walk in front of the deck stairs.
